A meeting was held with the delegation led by Anton Shalayev, the Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Russian Federation (Rosstandart) at the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute (AzMI) under the authority of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy.
During the meeting, the importance of transition to digital technologies, digitization of work processes and creation of automated information systems, as well as the exchange of experience between countries, was noted.
At the meeting where issues of mutual interest were discussed, the parties agreed on joint activities in the direction of creation of new laboratories and improvement of existing laboratories at the Azerbaijan Institute of Metrology.
During the visit, the delegation of "Rosstandart" got acquainted with the laboratory facilities of the Standardization and Metrology Institutes of Azerbaijan.
